Biography
Hello!
I am currently a full-time student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying Sociology and Spanish with the intention of working with underrepresented communities as an advocate for others. I have always had such a deep connection to children and childbirth which is what has drawn me to my work as a doula for women of underrepresented communities. I have yet to have children of my own, but I do love the complexity and beauty of childbirth, the wonders of a female body, the ability to create life, and would love to be a part of that beautiful aspect of women’s lives. Every birth giver deserves a community of people who want to ensure safety, health, comfort, and understanding during such a transitional period like pregnancy and childbirth. As a doula, my goal is to be a main support system for women and families who need it, to be a resource on all things pregnancy and childbirth, to be a connecting person between other care providers or resources, and overall to just be whoever you need before, during, or even after pregnancy.
